Questions people ask
Why does L/100 km go down when economy improves?
It counts the fuel used per 100 km, so less fuel means a smaller number. km/L and mpg count distance per fuel, so they go up.
Why are US and UK mpg different?
They use different gallons. A UK gallon is about 20% bigger, so the same car shows a higher UK mpg.
