Take bookings with a link
Set up time slots and how many people fit in each, and you get a booking link right away. Guests book with just a name, no sign-up. When a slot is full, people can join a waitlist, and if someone cancels, the first person waiting moves up on their own. It is free.
Questions people ask
Do guests get an email or text message?
No. AppDogu does not send emails or text messages. Guests get a "my booking" link when they book, and they use it to check or cancel. If someone moves up from the waitlist, nobody is told, so contact them yourself if needed.
What happens when a time is full?
If the waitlist is on, new guests join it in the order they come. When a booked guest cancels, the first person waiting moves up on their own. If the waitlist is off, a full time takes no more bookings.
Can two people get the last seat at the same moment?
No. The server counts seats one booking at a time, so a time never gets more bookings than its seats, even when people press the button together.
How long do you keep guest details?
We delete the booking page and every guest's name, contact and note 30 days after the last time slot ends. You can delete them sooner with the management link. Contacts are never shown to other guests. To stop illegal use, we also keep a separate record of what was made and booked (IP address, browser and what was typed).
