Date calculator
The number of days between two dates is the end date minus the start date. Turn on “count the start day” to add one day. Age goes up by one year on each birthday. All dates use your device’s calendar day.
Worked example
- 2026-01-01 to 2026-12-31 is 364 days, or 365 counting the start day.
- Born 2000-05-10: 25 on 2026-05-09, 26 on 2026-05-10.
Questions people ask
Does the count include both dates?
By default it counts from the start date up to the end date, which leaves one of them out. Turn on “count the start day” to include both.
How is a February 29 birthday handled?
In years without February 29, the age goes up on March 1.
