Which formats can I convert to?

Does converting lower the quality?
PNG keeps every pixel. JPG, WebP and AVIF make smaller files but drop some detail, and the quality slider sets how much. Turning a JPG into a PNG does not bring back detail that is already gone.
Are my images uploaded?
Your original files are not uploaded. Your browser opens, changes and saves them on your own device. To prevent illegal use, we record what you make (file names, sizes, settings and results) with a small preview image.
